Once the lining has been overlocked, a nice white nylon lace is added to the hemline ...
This delicate nylon lace folds in nicely with the baptismal gowns' lining, don't you agree ?
front of the christening gown is placed together with the right side of the matching lining. The two pieces are joint with a 1cm seam, after the overlocking those seams I top stitch it facing (pointing) to the lining...as per the photo below.
