Unique Christening Gowns - Heirloom christening gown

Last month i have experimented with this design of a white princess satin ( duchess satin a little bit lighter in weight compared to the satin used in wedding gowns) and a white heirloom guipure lace. I have decided to use a wider length of fabric for the skirt of this gown. I wanted to achieve a fullness about it and you must admit I have succeeded ! The matching bonnet has an over layer of organza embroidered with a soft white leave pattern. 10 cm wide lace finishes this bonnet. Although this christening gown is short sleeved with a white double sided satin ribbon used to tie up into a bow, the heirloom lace falls down gently just above the wrist.

Length 79cm width 250cm
