For the first time ever, I have a pleasure to make a christening gown for an Indian nationality baptism. I understand, that burgundy is a custom colour in their baptismal celebrations. The shine in satin makes it rather hard to take the right pics. The gown will be short sleeved, fully lined with a bemsilk. The parents have asked me to design an embroidery pattern similar to the Mary Heirloom christening gown. A delicate silk thread in soft pink has been chosen for the embroidery. I have added some AB crystals to emphasize the yoke embroidery. I will post the pics of the completed garment tomorrow. Good night Dana
