Slight design change to the Aneira christening gown

I have been asked to hand make a variation of an Aneira christening gown( white silk with an embroidered crystal organza overlay gown). You can revisit the posts here...

As you can see the baby's mum changed the double sided satin ribbons from white 20mm to a narrow very delicate pink with a touch of purple shade (double sided satin ribbon).

I think it adds softness to the gown, don't you ?

The white silk dupion bodice has an organza layer ....I have been asked to change the sleeves from gathered white silk puffy sleeve style to the organza . As you can see the scalloped edge was chosen to complement the scallop at t he bottom of the baptismal gown. This gown will be the only one ever made and it makes it so much more of a special keepsake. You might ask how the change of the design effected the final purchase price .... Well , I needed an extra 50cm width of the scallop edge for the sleeves. This organza is priced $50/m so an extra cost of $25.00 was added to the original price.

and the full view of the stunning christening gown :) Hope the parents will be happy with their choice. This gown is being picked up tomorrow, Monday. I will let you know their reaction to this truely unique baptism gown.
