This is the lace I am using to join the panels of this brand new white silk dupion heirloom christening gown.
Joining the second and third layers......as you can see from this photo the silk has been overlocked...

Now , the lace is added to the side edges of the christening gown's front panel. Doesn't it look smashing ? This brand new heirloom baptism gown will become a stunning one of a kind treasured family heirloom !
