Hand made heirloom christening gown - part 3

Once the front panel was stitched together with the side and back silk panels , I have decided to cut a 32 cm piece of silk to use as the edge right around the bottom of the whole christening gown.

Take a look , the extra length at the bottom complements nicely the lace inserts, don't you agree ?

Another close up of the fine white lace .....

I am stitching the side panel of the christening gown to the shell of the front feature.

The close up view of the shell..... Please, keep in mind that it still needs to be lined.
