Are you searching for a handsmocked christening gown ?

This brand new handsmocked silk heirloom christening gown will be featured at the Melbourne Pregnancy,Babies and Children's Expo on the 17 th - 19 th Oct at Melbourne Exhibition Buildings.
Usually the heirloom baptismal gowns have matching piping separating the handsmocked panel and the top part of the yoke piece. In this case I am aiming to soften the christening gown design.
Once the parts are stitched together you need to gently steam press the seams to get the nice smooth line across the seam....
Can you see the difference the iron can achieve ?
I have started the machine embroidery of the skirt. Using the same shade of the silk thread as the silk dupion colour it will further soften this precious baptism gown.
