Unique Christening Gowns - making romper from wedding gown

The front part of the pant leg....I place three small pleats in it. You can see a zipper I have stitched in the crouch. I do not pleat the back, because the back part of the leg cuff has an elastic stitched into it. This will make sure the baptismal romper doesn't slide of the leg. It will seat nicely on the little boy's leg.
The flat part of the cuff is stitched facing the pleated front of the pants.

The cuffs have been overlocked. The back zipper is in....
I have used the original crepe covered buttons that were used as decoration on the chest part of the wedding gown. Two buttons are hand stitched on the outside of the leg cuffs. The other two on the cuffs of the sleeves. Don't you thing this is a great design ? I am sure both mum and the Nana will be impressed.
