This is a blanket I have made out of one of the back panels of a wedding gown. The prayer has been embroidered with shades of purple's. The lace edging unpicked from the bottom of the wedding gown has made the blanket even more special.
The cotton lace stitched to the overlocked edges of the blanket.

This is one of the back panels.... I have folder it in half on the straight edge.....I have managed to cut out a rectangle of 78cm x 100cm. It is a nice size , just a touch smaller than the bassinett size.
