I tend to start off with adding the lace to the non static white lining. Than, place both front pieces facing each other.... stitch along both previously overlocked side seams.
Add the desired guipure lace...
I pleat the lining right along the width.... make sure you mark your middle and sides by using pins ..
Next, gather the front panel, mark the middle of the gown and both sides...
Than stitch both lining and the shell together.
