Unique. Christening Gowns - making of baptism gown

Today, I have started on a brand new design for my christening gowns range. This time I am using a white princess satin fabric. I have cut it o 250cm length. Lining needs to be at least 180cm wide.
Both pieces are overlocked...
After the embroidery is done in the centre of the fabric, it is time to pick the matching lace. I always pull several designs and place it next to the hemline. The aim being to fine a lace that flows with the embroidered pattern.
This is the guipure lace trim I will be using to embalish the new baby girls'christening gown.
