I have come across this beautiful off white embroidered silk with a touch of small diamanties used to decorated the elaborate embroidery. I just had to purchase some ! Here is a brand new christening gown I have designed using this spectacular fabric.The whole gown is fully lined including the sleeves. It measures 52cm in total length and I have opted for a 150cm hand gathered skirt. A couple of buttons close the back opening. I have taken few pics to show you the shimmer of the diamanties. This modern baptismal dress is stunning and I feel the pictures do not give enough justice. As you can see, the inside seams are hidden.I have used bound seams for babies comfort. Now I am in two minds as to the head piece.Since the christening gown is short sleeved I think the matching head band will complement it nicely.
