Unique Christening Gowns - making of new boys' baptism design

Today, I have been working on a new design for boys' christening wear. I have made a pattern for a shirt and a jacket. I am still debating about the matching pants... I have decided to finish these two pieces first.
I am using white silk dupion. I have made the piping out of the same batch of silk. The shirt has a small collar edged with the piping, I have added some of it around the sleeves' cuffs as well . It matches up nicely. I intend on using a white invisible zip at the back of the christening shirt for quick and easy access.
The baptismal jacket...well, I thought it would be quite nice and a bit different with a couple of pockets decorated with the matching silk piping. The bodice of the baptismal jacket will be lined with white non static lining. I will keep you posted on the progress of this boys' silk christening suit .
